They wanted me to do a few EHS audits of chemical companies and help them with their facility expansion. I volunteered my expertise as I believed this was an important cause.
What I was amazed by was their concern for Environmental & Safety regulations in the cleaning industry and the vision of replacing all hazardous cleaners throughout industry.
After a few small projects I realized the vast impact Environmental, Health and Safety of replacing the cleaners in just one industrial company.
Removing millions of gallons of process waste & hazardous chemicals in a simple process change? It seemed too good to be true until I saw the upstream and downstream influence.
Sadly, I informed
ESS that I would be taking a job outside of Wisconsin and would not be able to help them onsite.
To my amazement, they offered me a job to help them expand their vision of replacing hazardous cleaners & chemicals across the US and World.
As an Environmental, Health and Safety Director…. How could I refuse!
While there is much more to this and every story, this is the “nutshell version”
Seriously, why does your company use hazardous cleaners?By changing to ESS "pH neutral" cleaners our customers have eliminated their waste discharge problems, lowered plant emissions and provide a non-hazardous cleaner that eliminates DOT hazardous shipping and chemical harm to workers.
