An estimated 40 million pounds of electronic waste was collected to be recycled in 2011 in New Jersey, the state's Department of Environmental Protection announced. Last year was the first year that it was illegal to toss e-waste into the trash in the state. Before the new law went into effect, 8 million pounds of e-waste was recycled in 2010.Please read more from:
