NY Times: “Green Gold or Just Slime?” heads the story by Clifford Krauss on one money-gambling couple’s look at algae as a profitable source of renewable fuel. The piece has lots of broader context too about how people with money look for (green) ways to breed it. The NYT also and provides the graphic.
SF Chronicle: “Sales soar at green-tech companies” lacks the feature allure of the Times’s piece, but writer David R. Baker has a broader view in his tidy look at the growing river of private sector money flowing into renewable energy. Its source is a market research firm called Clean Edge.
