OSHA was one of 24 organizations to participate in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's efforts to develop a national strategy for reducing hazards for healthcare workers. The agency joined the National Steering Committee for Patient Safety, which includes members from the healthcare, policy, regulatory, and advocacy communities.
