Homeowners and others can give Wisconsin fish, groundwater, and lakes a break by easing up on watering and mowing their lawns and by making other smart water choices that will save them money.
“During the summer it’s particularly important for everybody to consider where they need to use water and where they don’t, and to take steps that will help them reduce water use year-round,” says Jill Jonas, who directs the Department of Natural Resources drinking and groundwater programs.
