Canada to curb "Silent" killer, while U.S. sleeps on it...

The World Health Organization (WHO) and Canada announced voluntary guidelines to cut 10% of lung-cancer deaths associated with deadly Radon gas. However, the U.S. EPA has no plan in place to help over 10 million homes in the U.S. that exceed RADON action levels.

Why are there no building guidelines for prevention? Why is there no notice to buyer (like lead) during purchase? Why does the U.S. have NO plan or standards in place?

Tragically with minimal monitoring and sealing the average home can easily prevent exposure (for $50-$350).
