That's no excuse for the anger and verbal abuse some county workers endured when they turned people away Saturday. Some frustrated residents threatened to dump their chemicals in ditches. We hope those were idle threats.
People must dispose of these chemicals properly, and Saturday's turnout showed that is the overriding issue.
