United States: Bush expected to sign bill to protect 273,000 acres of wilderness
San Francisco Chronicle: Congress gave final approval Friday for the biggest new wilderness designation in California in more than a decade when the Senate passed a bill setting aside 273,000 acres of scenic lands from Napa to the Oregon border.
