Anti-PVC Campaign Launched

Image and video hosting by TinyPicThe Center for Health, Environment and Justice launches its new "PVC: The Poison Plastic" campaign today. The website features the Flash video "Sam Suds, and the Case of PVC, the Poison Plastic," created by Free Range Studios of Berkeley and Washington, D.C. (the same folks that created "The Meatrix" videos, and "Store Wars"). Visitors can also take action by asking Target to phase PVC out of its products, a move Wal-Mart, Nike, Ikea and Johnson & Johnson have already taken. In conjunction with the site launch, there will also be a number of live activism events at Target stores around the country.  » original news (via hugg)
