Biofuel tested in New York City power plant

A power plant in New York City ran on a biofuel blend for a few days of tests late last month in the largest use of biofuels on any single occasion in the United States, according to the New York Power Authority. The NYPA said that about 100,000 gallons of soybean fuel were blended with 900,000 gallons of No. 6 fuel oil in concentrations of five and then twenty percent. Link from autobloggreen.com
