Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools: The Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC) is publishing the multimedia how-to guide to help schools adopt cleaning programs that encourage the use of green products, equipment and practices in schools. The eight-page, full-color Guide simplifies the green cleaning process, while the easy-to-use CD-Rom contains comprehensive information, practical advice, tools and resources to help schools take action. It also includes a purchasing guide that lists products that are consistent with HSC Green Clean recommendations. The free guide can be ordered at http://www.healthyschoolscampaign.org/campaign/green_clean_guide/ While the new guide is not specifically a U.S. EPA grant product, Region 5 did fund HSC in 2003 for a green cleaning demonstration pilot with Chicago Public Schools.
