Utilities behind group questioning renewable energy mandate

Associated Press: Three utilities are behind a group called Citizens for Sensible Renewables that is running ads urging people to mull a series of questions before voting on a renewable energy mandate. The so-called "20-20" ballot measure would require that this city and Grand Forks get 20 percent of their electricity from wind and other renewable sources by 2020, rising to 30 percent by 2030.
