The U.S. Department of Labor is introducing a public database that provides
information on toxic substance and chemical exposures at facilities covered
under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of
2000. The website contains records on more than 1,900 toxic substances at 24
major Energy Department sites, more than 4,000 uranium mines and 48 uranium
