Marriage not Divorce may be the key to stop global warming???

While many think the largest threat to our nations resources may be "Divorce"

The interesting thing is that, many states stopped calculating the divorce rate in 1998, the rate was 19%. In 1974, many states made no-fault divorced available, the divorce rate was over 20%. Wait, you mean that the divorce rate hasn't increased since we made easier for people to divorce? You mean that the divorce rate was over 30% in the 1950s?

Here's a chart showing decrease in both the number and rate of divorces.

"Divorce" my not be the problem: it may be that fewer are getting married. The marriage rate has been dropping, even as the raw number of marriages increased after steady decline. And you know what else? Our birth rate isn't so good either (CNN.com - U.S. has second worst newborn death rate in modern world)
