The Lakewide Management Plans outline the environmental status of each lake, highlight successes, identify problems and propose solutions.
The plans are called for by the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement between the United States and Canada to restore and maintain the chemical, physical and biological integrity of the Great Lakes.
