DOE release "Industry Reports" on closing the nuclear fuel cycle

In May 2007, DOE issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for GNEP Studies, providing financial assistance to selected applicants to perform analyses to help inform a decision on the potential GNEP path forward, including the design of initial nuclear fuel recycling facilities and fast reactors as well as technology development plans and business plans to close the nuclear fuel cycle in the United States.
