Pickens and Obama about "the big problem"

This week China Invested $20 Billion in securing of nearly 15% U.S. oil in Venezuela...
Foreign Oil: China has a plan. We don't.
"And for the sake of our economy, our security, and the future of our planet, I will set a clear goal as president: In 10 years, we will finally end our dependence on oil from the Middle East." — President Barack Obama

The countries that export the most oil to us - like Venezuela, Nigeria, Iraq, and Angola are either from unstable regions or do not have America's interests at heart, or both. Oil prices have come down from a year ago, but even though our addiction to foreign oil is cheaper, it is still a very dangerous addiction from a national security standpoint. We cannot allow foreign nations to control our security, environmental, and economic future. - Picken

HAASE NOTE: This is a 25 year deal with China to secure oil. While I may not agree with everything Pickens and President Obama state, I wholeheartedly agree with these oil statements. I also believe that if the two of them sat down with me, they would have a 'viable option' to make there 'carter era unicorn dreams' of reducing oil consumption a reality - Haase.
