Political misinformation in Princeton, IL

bcrnews.com ... I am still trying to deduce how keeping our water and air clean or how reducing deaths and injuries to people working at their jobs can actually create more jobs. I would like somebody to explain this to me in detail rather than just complain that it costs them more money to obey these regulations. We have a “supply and demand” economy, and these regulations do not affect “demand” for these businesses services or products, therefore do not require the hiring of more people to fill an increased “demand.” They might mean more money in the pockets of these business owners but have no affect on job creation. It was the elimination of regulations (Glass-Steagall) that caused our present economic mess proving that getting rid of them is not necessarily good.

Our representative also stated he does not want us “to be reliant on Iran anymore for energy.” I would tell him to do his research, and he would discover we do not import one gallon of oil from Iran.
