CA: Bill Would Allow Facilities to Donate Medicine

A bill in California would allow a greater number of healthcare facilities to donate surplus, unopened, unexpired medications to residents in need.Senate Bill 1329, introduced by Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, would permit nonprofit community clinics and certain pharmacies to receive donated medicines from medical facilities.
