WDNR -- March is a prime time to fix leaky toilets and faucets that can waste up to 10,000 gallons of water a year and add 10 percent to the average residential water bill, state water use officials say.
Tips on how to detect leaks, free plumbing inspections from participating plumbers, and video and radio messages are available during "Fix a Leak Week," March 12-18.
