Why are we selling billions in tax payer research and technology for large corporations to sell it for pennies on the dollar?
The U.S. has spent billions in loans, rebates and subsidies developing the batteries and technology of the FAILED Chevy VOLT. Now in a last ditch effort to make profits and false partnerships... GM will be handing over a demonstration fleet to the China to "review"?
Lesson for solar industry...What have we learned?
After the U.S. spent decades and Billion$ developing world leading solar technology in universities and industry, we literally sent our best core developers over to China to start solar manufacturing companies. Now the most profitable, high tech solar companies in the world are in China thanks to your tax dollars.
I have friends in these solar industries and I personally watched this train wreck happen...Now we will watch it happen to our electric car dreams.
How is selling our core computer, battery, manufacturing or intellectual properties for pennies on the dollar not relevant to U.S. tax payers, industries or government?
