The Third International Conference on Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies (SCMT3) has now been finalized for August 18 - 22, 2013, Kyoto, Japan.
Kyoto is the old capital of Japan. It is about 700 kilometers southwest, by car, from the nuclear power plant in Fukushima.
The deadline for sending abstracts, 200 to 300 words, for topics related to the theme of this conference is June 29, 2012. For details please visit the Internet site www.scmt.org.uk The main sponsors of SCMT3 are Coventry University (CU), University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Center for By-products Utilization (UWM-CBU), and the Japan Concrete Institute (JCI). In addition, ASCE, ACI, CSCE, and RILEM are also supporters and co-sponsors. Our Japanese hosts have kindly agreed to conduct this conference. However, Professor Peter Claisse and Professor Tarun R.
