Eleven years after rescuers rushed into the burning World Trade Center, new federal rules are expanding the list of diseases covered by a health care fund for Sept. 11 first responders, including types of cancer, NIOSH has announced. The new list adds to the diseases contracted by people who were in and the around the World Trade Center in the days and months after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.
