The Environmental Council of the States (ECOS ), the Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA) and the States ERP Consortium are sponsoring a meeting for federal, state and local government representatives to learn about the results of environmental compliance assurance strategies that states have been implementing for various business sectors.
The objectives of the "National Meeting on Environmental Compliance Assurance & Performance Measurement Strategies " at the EPA Potomac Yard Offices in Arlington, Virginia on Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20 are to:
- bring state, tribal, and federal programs together to share information and results
- discuss compliance assurance and monitoring approaches and their effectiveness
- identify next steps for the States ERP Consortium
The agenda includes time for Q&A, in-depth discussion, and strategy development.
