Home Depot to Plant 130 Acres of Trees & Offset Employee Emissions

The Home Depot Inc. will fund the planting of thousands of trees on about 130 acres of land in metro Atlanta try to offset carbon emissions created at its Atlanta headquarters and offset part of the emissions its workers create driving to work and traveling for business. The program is part of The Conservation Fund's Go Zero program, which helps companies offset their carbon footprints by using reforestation.
